
David G. Beiser, MD, MS
Dr. Beiser’s research applies biomedical engineering methods to the challenge of improving outcomes following cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction and stroke. As part of a mult-disciplinary collaboration between basic scientists, engineers and clinicians, he is involved in a variety of clinical studies, translational research projects and device-development initiatives.

David O. Meltzer, PhD'92, MD'93
David Meltzer is Chief of the Section of Hospital Medicine, Director of the Center for Health and the Social Sciences, and Chair of the Committee on Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Chicago, where he is Professor in the Department of Medicine, and affiliated faculty at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and the Department of Economics.

Heather Zheng, PhD
Heather Zheng is the Neubauer Professor of Computer Science. Heather Zheng’s work is currently devoted to both mobile systems and data-driven research, and often combines strengths and novel concepts of systems and networking, economics, and data analysis. She was selected as one of MIT Technology Review’s top innovators under the age of 35 in recognition of her work on cognitive radios, which was also recognized by the same publication as one of the 10 most important emerging technologies of that time.

Audre Gvildys Bagnall, MBA
Audre Gvildys Bagnall joined The University of Chicago Medical Center in 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Ms. Bagnall is responsible for development of UCMC’s network development strategy, implementation of the organization’s strategic plan, ambulatory facilities planning, clinical program planning and new program development. Prior to her role at The University of Chicago, Ms. Bagnall was Vice President Strategic Planning at Montefiore in New York City.

Allyson Hansen, MHA
Allyson Hansen is the Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services for UChicago Medicine. In this role Hansen has operational responsibility for all on-campus and off-campus Ambulatory sites and services including the newest location under construction in River East opening in February 2020. With over 25 years of experience leading ambulatory operations she has extensive experience in moving innovations and strategies from concept through implementation to operationalization.
